It was a true pleasure to have Milele participate in the Blessing Of The Shoes Interfaith Service at AIDS Walk Orange County on June 6. As you began your first song, Rabbi Dworkin said to me, “This is the smartest thing you could have programmed into this service.” He was right! Your spirit, enthusiasm, music and joy were evident to all those who participated.

Many people throughout the day told me how much they enjoyed and appreciated your music. The consensus also was to get you on the calendar for next years walk June 5, 2005. I hope you will pencil us in on your calendar and save the date. We definitely want you back and will lobby to move the Blessing Of The Shoes Interfaith Service to the Main Stage.

Thank you so for taking the time to join us in giving hope to all those who are affected by HIV/AIDS and your encouragement to all those who participated in the walk. We raised over $700,000 to support the fight against HIV/AIDS and to support those living with the disease in Orange County. Thanks too for hanging out with me at the walk. I enjoyed getting to know each of you a little better.
